The PLS360E is a self-leveling, detectable laser kit including carrying case, wall bracket, detector and grade rod bracket. The PLS360E is the PLS360 "pulsed" packaged with a detector to pick up the laser signal when the line is not visible. This is not a rotating laser, it has no rotating parts. By simply setting the up the laser within 6% of level and pushing the "on" button it will show a 360 degree visible line accurate to 1/8 of an inch at 100 feet. Ideal for use indoors for suspended ceilings, cabinets finish trim and counter tops. When used outdoors you can push the "on" button twice to make it puse and detectable with the laser detector. At close distances you will still be able to see the line but you can also pick it up with the detector from 250 feet away. Set it up in the middle of your job site and get a 500 foot diameter. There is a 1/4" threaded hole in the bottom of the unit for use on the bracket included or a tripod. The detector has an adjustable volume setting and a removable attachment for clamping to grade rods. There are 2 screens for viewing the laser height one on each side of the detector. The benefit of having a viewing screen on each is that you can be standing behind the grade rod and still read the signal. This unit will run for 35 to 40 hours on 3 D cell batteries.
